- Quran Progress: Which verses you've memorized, review history, and learning statistics
- Voice Recordings: Audio recordings of your Quran recitation for Tajweed analysis (processed and not permanently stored)
- Payment Information: Processed securely by Stripe; we do not store your credit card details
2.2 Automatically Collected Information
- Device Information: Device type, operating system, and unique device identifiers
- Usage Data: App features used, session duration, and interaction patterns
- Crash Reports: Technical information when the app crashes (via Firebase Crashlytics)
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to:
- Provide and maintain the HifzAI service
- Track your Quran memorization progress
- Analyze your recitation for Tajweed feedback
- Calculate spaced repetition review schedules
- Display leaderboards and gamification features
- Process subscription payments

4. Voice Recording & Tajweed Analysis
Important: Your voice recordings are processed for Tajweed analysis and are NOT permanently stored on our servers. Recordings are temporarily processed via AssemblyAI for transcription, then immediately deleted.
We use your recitation recordings solely to:
- Transcribe your recitation
- Compare against the correct Quranic text
- Provide Tajweed pronunciation feedback
5. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do NOT sell your personal information. We share data only with:
- Supabase: Database and authentication services
- Stripe: Payment processing (PCI compliant)
- AssemblyAI: Voice transcription for Tajweed analysis
- Firebase: Analytics and crash reporting
- Apple/Google: Push notification delivery
All third-party services are bound by their own privacy policies and data protection agreements.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures:
- All data transmitted via HTTPS/TLS encryption
- Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text
- Payment processing handled by PCI-compliant Stripe
- Regular security audits and updates
